August!
Is it hot? Yeah! Right around 100˚F, sunny, and no rain. The time of year when people walk around looking wilted, and plants wish they could just look wilted. Water a tree. Water yourself while you’re at it.Try to get your car work done early. Heavens help you if you have to do any attic work this month. Go visit a river (and get in it while you’re there). It makes the heat an afterthought while you’re cooling off. Going to Barton Springs is like installing internal AC. I used to go to free swim at night and then sleep with the windows open…
